Dieck Elementary is so proud of Mrs. Harbert's 5th grade class which ran a very realistic and professional election at Dieck Elementary yesterday. Every detail was planned out including decorations, registration cards, voting booths, and tally tables. Students learned about the election process and how to display their voice as an educated citizen. They took their voting rights very seriously. These students made me so proud! Thank you Mrs. Harbert!

Dieck Specials teachers go above and beyond to make learning fun and to provide extra curricular opportunities for our students. Thank you for the work you do!

Dieck Elementary's Kindness Club brought smiles to many faces this morning with their kind notes and jokes spread around the building. We appreciate you. How will you show gratitude and kindness today? World Kindness Day is November 13th!

Dieck Elementary is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $20. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Click on the link below and enter the online order code shown on your child's order form or to search for your child's artwork. Then, have fun shopping!

In Swartz Creek, John is a beloved figure known for his cheerful waves and kind heart. Every day, he strolls through the neighborhood, brightening everyoneβs day with a friendly greeting and a helping hand. Whether heβs assisting neighbors with chores or collecting garbage cans, Johnβs enthusiasm is contagious.
John is also a captivating storyteller. His talesβfilled with humor and life lessonsβcreate connections with people of all ages. Many look forward to their encounters with him, eager to hear what he has to share.
Recently, the School PTO honored John with a thoughtful gift: a Creek Dragons shirt and Halloween cards sent to him at the senior center. This simple gesture brought immense joy to him and highlighted the community's appreciation for his spirit.
Johnβs kindness inspires others to engage more with those around them, reminding us of the importance of connection in our busy lives. As we reflect on his impact, letβs take a cue from John: wave to a neighbor, share a story, and lend a hand. Together, we can nurture the warmth that makes our community truly special.
